A must own series for anyone contemplating running a car on the track. It starts out basic, but pulls you painlessly into the black arts of racing, as only Carroll Smith could do. Yes, the books were written over 20 years ago, but the subject matter is not dated. Once you read one, you will buy the whole "To Win" series, as well as other Carroll Smith books. I would recommend that you put these books on your Amazon.com wish list, so your family can *finally* give you presents you will (honestly) thank them for! |
