20b - 2006/09/18 08:00Nobody has been able to answer this question lets see if you guys can help me. I rebuilt my first 20B. Have done lots of 13B's so I thought it would be event free. But, now I understand that all the dowel pins were not all the same (unlike 13b's) So now the engine is assembled and I have no idea where I installed the dowel pins. they apparently fit wherever I installed them. Is this something I need to worry about? What is the difference? It must be a very small difference since I didnt notice it. But I didnt pull out any mic's and check them.
Thanks is advance

Hi RX8Guy, I received the answer from Rob Golden the engine builder at Pineapple Racing. There is no difference between the 20B dowel pins and the 13B dowel pins, they are all the same. The only difference in dowel pins would be between the 12As because they are shorter plates.
So you are good to use those dowel pins.
