If their are small scratches on the housings can they be built up with JB Weld, cuz Someone just doing an economy built for their 88 GXL said thats what their doing. Also reusing the Apex and oil seals, I'm new to the rotary engine and Ive just pulled my engine apart and I'm wondering if his advice is valid because my O-ring also went. Also he said the only reason he is doing it that way is because the inner O-ring on the endplate went so no damage was really done on his 103,000 mile engine. I just want to know if I should trust him, he's a forum friend.

That sounds very scary, jb welding the rotor housings, it depends where it is.

100,000 miles is ALOT of miles to rebuild a rotary engine with!

Take a look at this video on rotor housings, let me know if this answers any questions for you. Where are you JB welding, I'd suggest throwing that housing away, 100,000 miles is alot to be reusing for a rotary engine.
