I just bought 4 1972 Rotary cars. 2 are RX-2's, and 2 are RX-3's. 3 have engines and 1 doesn't. None of them run, at least I doubt they run. They have been sitting out on the prairie of Wyoming for 25+yrs according to the people who had them. I haven't found much info on the net for the older 12a's. So I have a few questions.

Are they buildable?
Are the rotors desirable because of the 9.4 comp ratio?
Will these rotors work with the later 12a rotor housings?
What's the porting design of the old 12a's?
I have read something about the old housings not being coated, causing less wear abilities after being lapped, is this true?

I picked these cars up for $200 for the lot. I couldn't let them crush'em.
I just really need to know what I'm up against. Any help or direction would be appreciated.
