I am removing teh Carburator on my 1985 Rx-7 GSL. I have it almost removed, but ther is one blot i can't get to ( the rear left bolt). Has anyone hear removed teh Carb on their Rx-7 and resolved teh problem???

Please help, this is very fustrating.

Sounds about right. There's one bolt that is *very* tough...so tough, some people have made new wrenches to reach it. Can't recall who, off hand. It might be easier to pull the whole manifold.

lol. well i think i will just remove all the hoses and stuff, and take of some other things, to give me just enough room to get to it lol.

I fianly got teh bugger off after about an hour, and inventing my own tool, and removing alot of other parts, and now i have another question lol

Shouldn't there be a gasket between the Carb, and the manifold???

Yes. Are you sure it's not just baked onto one other the other?

So there is one gasket that should be there then? In that case I better try and get it off the manifold, becuase it definitly was not on the Carbureator
