say if i was going to pull down my engine just too inspect for wear and any damage.
what parts have too be replaced?
as far as i know only the inner and outer water seals have to be replaced or is there more? _________________

Well it really depends on how old your engine is, did it blow up, if that parts are in good condition.
Generally, almost always unless its a fairly new engine, the bearings are replaced for the stationary gears, and the rotors. Although its spendy, Pineapple Racing will only use brand new rotor housings, but if they are in good condition you can probably get away with it. Its really, just a matter of how many miles the engine will run. Inspect the apex seals to make sure if they are worn out on the edges, inspect the wear and tear on the plates.
So really to answer your question, it really depends exactly on how old, and how much damage yours have received. You probably want to use new gaskets, o-rings and seals.
