I know that the cold start system helps the car to start and warm faster during cold days but is it really necessary? Is there anyway I can remove that and what are the pro and cons on proceding to this task? Thanks JP

What cold start system? What car? Are you referring to the Sub-Zero system...if so, just delete it. If you mean a choke on a carb or something, only if you know how to start a chokeless car. Fuel injected cars just dump more fuel in the engine.

Yes, it is the sub zero system, the one when you start the car it idles to about 3000 rpm until it is warmed up and then it will go back to it proper idle. Is there anyway of getting rid of it? Thanks
