I was writing an article for MazdaSport Magazine and had to create some new illustrations. Here are a couple I thought you might like to see. These are drawings -- sketches, really -- I made of the intake/exhaust side of both a RENESIS ( RX-8 ) and 6PI 13B ( 84-91 RX-7 ) engines. Nothing special, but they did take a LONG time to draw. Smile



BTW, the article I wrote is about the changes Mazda implimented in the RENESIS, compared to the previous non-turbo engines of the 80s and early 90s. I don't know the cover date (magazine lead times are pretty long), but keep an eye out for it in a month or two, on the newsstand.

u dont by any chance have any dimension specific specs of the renesis engine, i'm a 2nd year mech eng student at birminham university, and i'm doing a design project and want to use the RX-8 powertrain in my design.

i would be extremely grateful for any help!
