The 26J Series - 4 Rotor

Rotary Engine History

The first ever 4 rotor engine was called the 26J by Mazda.  This motor was used in the 1988 767 Le Mans prototype race car.  Unfortunately this engine was poorly designed and was later replaced by the famous R26B.
