||Pineapple Racing's new Rotary Engine Stand Adapter allows you to mount a rotary engine on a conventional engine stand. The adapter bolts to the engine stand flange, while the front side housing of a rotary engine is bolted to the adapter using the studs for the A/C bracket and a nut. With the side housing bolted to the adapter, you can disassemble and reassemble the engine with relative ease. The offset of the adapter allows the engine assembly to be rotated to suit your needs (e.g. flipped upright to install the front cover assembly, then turned on its back to put on the oil pickup tube and oil pan).
The adapter flange holes were slotted to work on most common engine stands, but we can only guarantee it will work without modification on the popular Harbor Freight 1000 lb. stand (pictured). They chose this stand due to its nationwide availability, good quality, and low price. They got theirs for $40 on sale (reg. $50) direct from Harbor Freight Tools. Bolts to attach adapter to stand can be found at any hardware store. Ask for four 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch bolts, four flat washers and four 1/2 inch nuts.
This Rotary Engine Stand Adapter is constructed of plasma cut 7/16th-inch thick plate steel that has been powder coated black for great durability.
Price is $69 each, plus shipping. Mounting bolts not included.
